How Geocaching Works

This small cache is located on a footpath between the Warwickshire villages of Cubbington and Stareton.
The cache is part of a series created by ‘A Coventry Way Association’. The association was originally formed to promote a long distance footpath, A Coventry Way, and to support local authorities in the path’s maintenance. Our primary aim was to encourage people to discover and use the local countryside. A book of 21 Circular Walks was produced, broadly based on the main walk. Our plan is to set out a variety of caches, located on or near each of the 21 walks. See ‘www.acoventryway.org.uk’ for further information.
The cache is small 0.4 litre screw top beaker, containing a log-book and a selection of goodies. It is located on a public footpath on walk 7. The 9-mile walk starts at Bubbenhall (N 52 20.813 W 001 28.106). The cache coordinates give an alternative location for parking, reasonably close to the cache. Park, with care, on the verge. To locate the actual cache, visit either On Weston High or Cubbington View – the log at both of these provides the necessary coordinates.
The full walk includes Keith’s Birthday Cache, as well as On Weston High, Cubbington View and Tubular Belle.
