Welcome to Napier, Art Deco Capital of the world. At the bottom of town is a lovely square called Clive Square. Here you will find the cache: "Naughty but Nice".
Clive Square has an abundance of exotic plants, and especially cycads and palms. It makes for a great spot to eat your lunch, read a book, or just watch the passers by. My office is just off the square at #23 - next door to Property Brokers - feel free to drop in and let my receptionist know that you found the cache.
The cache is at significant risk by geomuggles and is hidden as discretely as possible in this rather public park. The local Clive Square Gardner knows about the cache and will not be alarmed to see you with a GPS. In 2010 I moved the cache to the adjacent little park called Memorial Square, which has the war monument in it.
Some of the contents are more suitable for adults.
The original cache contained:
A Golf ball, An asthma testing whistle (actually a sucker), An AM/FM mini radio with Super Bass, A package of butterfly sutures, A green alligator, a leather coaster embossed with a Hawkes Bay Wine leaf, A leather strap, a box of ear plugs, A small purple Yo yo, A yellow bag containing glass treasures, a purple whistle. An Amnesty international pin, a little tag on the story of “Converse”, some US coins, A business card for ‘Dutch Treat” down the road (not what you think!). A log book and pen stays in the container.
