Geocache Description:

Located on HWY 103 South of Oark.

Hillbilly Water Fountain #2 better known by the locals as Barnsley Springs, according to one of the Elders from the area, who is 75 years young, the spring was there before the 1930's, and people from Clarksville would drive up the mountain to fill containers with water from the spring, which was some of the best drinking water around the area. At one time a park was built across the road from the spring and the water was piped to the park. The park was later closed and fenced. This is a largish plastic container with small trade items. Please bring a pen to log. Placement across from Water Fountain was "muggled" or ransacked at least. We have been drinking from the spring for the last 2 years, and it is very good tasting water! Cords were triple checked in the foliage-free season, write if you have any problem finding.
