The cache is near a spot with nice views to the east and the west. You will need to use one of several unofficial trails to get there. This cache is located above "Above a Challenge" cache.
I have hiked the unofficial trails around here, but never knew how good the view was until today. The easiest access is to take the Chamise trail, then use the unoffical trail starting from N 37 20.688 W 122 07.732. You will pass by a clearing, which is marked as "Pit" on USGS quad Mindego Hill. Satellite photos will show other ways to get to the cache. The cache is a standard ammo box. The initial contents of the cache are back issues of National Geographics. Feel free to take them or trade.
