Begin below Hooker Falls, (paddle power only!) A short trip down the Little River arm of Cascade Lake to this cache on the bank.
This cache is for paddlers only!(or a very determined bushwhacker) The cache is a 10x10x6 tupperware container on the bank of the Little River arm of Cascade Lake.
Please park at N 35 12.179, W 082 37.151
It is a large gravel parking lot with a bunch of traffic on weekends. Continue down the Hooker Falls trail, (with your boat!) approximately 0.25 miles to the put in point.
(PUT IN COORDINATES: N 35 12.135,W 082 37.428)
PLEASE BE ADVISED, you will be following the Little River to the put in point and will want to float down the river instead of carrying your boat, DO NOT DO THIS! Hooker Falls is a large 12 FOOT DROP into a pool of water with many rocks below. Unless you have prior experience running the falls, ONLY USE THE PUT IN COORDINATES BELOW HOOKER FALLS. From the put in, it is all flat water and NO rapids or dangerous currents will be encountered.
The cache is well hidden and getting out of your boat will be required, with a possibility of getting wet.
