Geocache Description:

Buddy Todd Park's 2nd cache. This is a direct result of looking in the wrong place for Buddy Todd's First cache! It's just like the other, but Flipped!

*** THIS IS AN OFFSET CACHE ***

In November, 2004, we went out to find the Buddy Todd Park cache. (GCH6XD), by Fyre Dawg". This was our 16th find. I grew up playing in this park, so it was a natural place to go look. The most amazing thing I couldn’t believe was that there was only one cache in this great park! Check out the description for “Buddy Todd Park” to get some history on the park and it’s name sake.

Well, we goofed up the search and got our Latitude and Longitude mixed up, and while we were looking, we found this great location to place another cache! And so began the idea for our first cache hide. We asked Fyre Dawg permission to use his idea for a reversed cache and so “Buddy Todd Park – Flipped” was born. It is recommended to try to get both of these caches on the same trip.

Special thanks to our good friend, Globefly, for risking life, limb, and loss of blood for helping build this cache. :)

* Below is edited from “Buddy Todd Park”, for this cache*
This is a small cache (Small items only) that can be found with a short scavenger hunt to find two key posted dates. Both dates are within 400 feet of the starting point at the above coordinates.

First, find the memorial that reads "To the memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of our country". Add 25 to the last two digits of the year this memorial was dedicated. Subtract that new number from the longitude of the starting point to get the longitude of the cache.

Next, find a small flagpole in need of repair (no flag). Subtract 48 from the last two digits of the date stamped in the foundation. Add that new number to the latitude of the starting point to get the latitude of the cache.

Note: These numbers are slightly different from “Buddy Todd Park”, but even if you used the same numbers – flipped - you would probably find the loot.

Original Contents:
Ruler set
2 butterfly erasers
barrel of monkeys
bouncy ball
weightlifter bean
purple smiley guy
teddy bear
goldfish
butterfly charm
butterfly bead
smiley ring
stickers

Watch out for muggles in the area, it's a little open to be watched. There is a neighbor across the street who likes to be *helpful* and can sometimes be a spoiler. Happy Caching!!!
