Geocache Description:

Traditional cache right off of Grants Trail. Located in a small abandoned camp in a little visited and very overgrown piece of odd public property - cache is located about 12M in from scrubline.

This cache is located off of Grants trail, and has a small opening in the scrubs to let you in located at:

38.567621N -90.389587W

From this opening, the cache and camp is located 12 Meters directly behind the scrubline. Easy to find, but unlevel ground may impede entry for some. Entry may grow thick in Summer.

I walk past this spot on my way to the library and it's in-between-the-cracks of Crestwood location made it very interesting. It seems to be an old camp or kid's fort, and contains an old tarp, patio umbrella, fuel cans, beer cans, firepit with grill, and several other signs of use. I immediately wished to dedicate the cache to Hobos, and have included a "Hobo Wallet" in the cache along with some other Hobo related swag in the cache. bring small wallet photos or prints to put in the wallet - or anything else a hobo might need in his travels.

Please do not remove items from the wallet - add to wallet and take other container swag. Thx!

Cache is a medium sized black container. Cover it up when done and protect from sun if possible.

Original contents:
Mardi Gras beads (Hobos love Fat Tuesday in Soulard)
Various Wine Bottle corks
Various Beer Coasters
Hobo Wallet with goodies.
Hobo symbols
logbook
pen / pencil
bandana

WAYPOINT NOTES:
I used an etrex to mark the cache and entry waypoints. In both cases I used an average of 7 readings each. If ANYONE with confident waypointing skills/equipment wishes to send me more accurate locations, pls post ur findings. thx!
