THIS CACHE IS GEOVAGUE.ORG'S OFFICIAL CACHE! CHECK IT OUT!
This is no ordinary GeoCache. Please trade ONE playing card from the original deck in cache (see box), with the SAME CARD of a different deck. Be sure to log online what you traded, and cross it out on the list on the back of the first page of the logbook. SAVE YOUR CARD! Once the entire deck is made up of new cards I will make this a TB which will have to visit all of you and trade back to the original deck. Please no other trades except TBs!
Onto some other details:
I have another cache located in this trail system... NancyCz-6 "So Very Cool". You can do both caches, however in wet or snowy weather you're going to want to choose your approach carefully. This is not an easy stroll. In the snow I would suggest parking in visitor parking and then walking away from the mansion to the TrailHead found at N 42 51.945/W 73 13.147.
Follow up to the first split and follow white/blue -- do NOT take trail 8 (you will be in the wrong area). After white/blue you will have to make a left turn and then follow to a tree where you see a blue/white/yellow blaze. Make a left again. You're on your own from there.
For a girl who whines and moans about steep climbs, I've definitely outdone myself -- it's steep, but FUN! In the spring I plan on exploring more of these trails and I'm sure Squealy will end up hiding something up here -- it's got the best of everything: water, trails, ruins.
