"PLEASE, NO TRAVEL BUGS SHOULD BE PLACED IN
THIS CACHE as they will be listed in the wrong
country!".
This is a two-part, two-person cache. The first part is a plaque
located in Tauranga. The plaque has the co-ordinates of the second
part, which is in Finchampstead, Berkshire, England, some 11,580
miles away!
This is how it works. After locating Part 1 in Tauranga, use the
Groundspeak forum (United Kingdom page) to make contact with a
geocache partner in the UK who is willing to find Part 2 (the main
cache) for you. When a UK partner is found you then email him/her
the co-ordinates of the main cache and your UK partner has found
the second part of the cache he/she must email you to confirm that
the cache is complete. When you have received this confirmation
both parties can claim the find. Please note the name of your
partner in the log.
The UK cache is an ammo box with various swaps and a prize for
the FTF.
It is located on a wooded public footpath in the ancient village of
Finchampstead, Royal County of Berkshire, Southen England.
The main cache degree of difficulty is 2/2;
Footpaths may be muddy in wet weather..
It is accessible from several footpaths.
The cache is being run in conjunction with
Birders, who have part 2 of a similar cache
Over the Pole North to South - GCMYD6 located in the UK close
to part 2 of this cache."
