Geocache Description:

These are some sand dunes out behind the Bernalillo County Metropolitian Detention Center.

You can get to these dunes at the intersection of Paseo Del Vulcan & Sen. Dennis Chaves (N35 01.447 W106 47.535).There is private property in the area, so plaese stay on the main dirt roads. An SUV or pickup truck would be the best vechile for this terrian. If you are adventurous you can get to within walking distance of the cache with a car. The cache is a typical ammo can.
