Geocache Description:

A little cache meant to bring you to the Fireflies sculpture.

This sculpture was created by Jerry Sawyer (who also did the Indians overlooking the river near the Main St. bridge) and dedicated July 29, 2002. Team LightningBugs was at the ceremony. On summer nights, the fireflies light up and blink.

This corner gets a lot of traffic. Try to be as inconspicuous as possible. For safety's sake, you may want to park on a side street and walk over. There is no need to disrupt the landscaping or tread on the private yard behind the sculpture to find the container. Bring your own writing stick.

Thanks to greyhounder for the *Doh! Why didn't I think of that?* idea.
