This was meant to be the first in a series, but ten years later it's still the only one. Still going strong, though.
This is out in the beautiful Russian River Wine Country. Cache is on private property, and the owners know it's there, so 10am to 5pm only, please. Sometimes there's a new person working the tasting room who hasn't heard about the cache, so just tell them it's ok. Also, use the parking lot - do not park on the side of the road (there's no shoulder to speak of).
Make sure you have a designated cacher and enjoy the beautiful views (and taste some of Sonoma County's finest) as you search for this cache. It's a good-sized container, so there's enough room for moderate-sized goodies. The terrain varies with the seasons. It's much harder in the summer.
