Hit Rochelle Road from the West side. It is shut down to through traffic unless you want to hike it from the east. Its all public roads and land, but it’s been shut for years because of a land slide.
The last mile and half you have a steep 100 yard clime that you use to use a 4X4 on. There is not a sign that stops you from climing the hill, but it is off the main road so it is closed. You must hike it in. When you get on top enjoy the view of the National Grass Lands and go find the cache. Watch the edges when your up there and stay on the road and you will be safe. Don't do this one by your self and do what the hint tells you. The cache is in a well insulated white box. And will be checked monthly. It has Computer Games to swap out. If you take a game make sure you leave one and make it for a PC and under $10 or an old one you don't use, the games I'm starting out with are Final Doom, B and B Bunghole in one, Rainbow 6, Half Life, and WCW Nitro. It also has a nine volt battery, zip ties, coax splitter, 3 Xmas lights, Easter candle holder and candle, mini fishing bobber and cards to mail me and some to log your visit. My info has been left to let me know if I need to check my cache. If you go back take a different trail to the cache so we can avoid erosion and a trail. You will see what I mean the first time there. This is a place to go on a good day (DRY) but you could make any time, but it would really suck if it's raining or snowing. The box is well protected. Watch out for loose rocks!!!
