Since "Hope Springs Eternal" in
my world (I hope I find the next cache!), this is a special place
I'd like to share with you.
Randy Cassingham's Honorary
Unsubscribe Recognizes the Unknown, the Forgotten and the
Obscure People who Had an Impact on Our Lives. He lists
Richard
A. Bloch as one who deserves such an
Honor.
This park honors Dick
Bloch as well, but in a manner that spreads
his particular brand of committed, knowledgeable, proactive
hope. Dick said:
"There is no such
thing as false hope to a cancer patient.
Hope is as unique with each individual as a
fingerprint."
Allow yourself the time to take a
"Positive Mental Attitude Walk" along the "Road to Recovery" and
you will read more about what I mean. At one plaque, you will
read that "prayer by strangers has been clinically proven to
improve patients' condition" or something similar. With
that in mind, if you are so inclined, please offer up a prayer
of hope and healing for our fellow GXers:
- The Dream Cacher Swan and her loved ones
- CargoLear of Alvin and the Chipmunks and his
loved ones
- Mindles of Kipkay and Mindles and her loved
ones
- TeamCheo's Mrs and her loved ones
Pittsburgh Transplant added: "My prayer would be to all people with
problems and medical problems in particular, that they approach it
with the same determination as they would a very difficult cache
and that they stick with it till they find it and enjoy the hunt."
God bless and keep you, PT, for your great
attitude!
To find this cache, visit the
posted coords and count how many figures are in the
sculpture. Place that digit in the blank
below:
N 27 58.991, W 082
30.2_7
Going to those coords, you
will find the cache, sign the log, replacing all back in the
manner to which it has become accustomed to (yes, hidden
in plain view), and leave here with a spring in your step and
a Positive Mental Attitude. Now go spread some of that love
and hope around to the rest of your world! For more
information, check out the Richard and
Annette Block Cancer Survivor Parks. Feel free to call (800)
433-0464 for a free copy of "Fighting Cancer." In addition, please
note "National Cancer Survivor Day", the first Sunday of June.
Live
Strong.
Thanks Mr Walleye for the heads up that the closest
parking lot closes at 6:00PM. Hope the park ranger didn't charge you to come unlock the
gate!
~~ Have a blessed
day. Happy caching. ~~
