Geocache Description:

This is the 4th in a series of 5 caches on one section of the South Poway Trail. To complete all 5 caches, the hike will be less than 2 miles round trip. This area is full of rocks and often you will see "cairns" made by hikers. Feel free to add to the collection. The cache is a few yards N of the trail and you will need your own writing tool. Please put the plastic bag on the outside of the cache box to help keep it in place. There is a nice view of north and east Poway from this point.

Parking is available near the South Poway staging area on Metate Lane. The South Poway Trail offers great views of Poway and extends from Pomerado Rd east to Sycamore Canyon Rd.
