This is the 5th in a series of 5 caches on one
section of the South Poway Trail. To complete all 5 caches,
the hike will be less than 2 miles round trip. The cache is an
ammo can hidden next to the trail. If you choose to continue
on the trail it continues down the hill and will cross
Community Rd. via a tunnel. There is a small trail cutting off
to the right at the bottom of the hill and before the tunnel
which will take you back to the parking area. Or,return as you
came.
Parking is available near the South Poway staging area off
Metate Lane. The South Poway Trail offers great views of Poway and
travels from Pomerado Rd. east to Sycamore Canyon Rd.
