This cache is located along the Keuka Lake Outlet, behind the abandoned plant where Penn Yan boats used to be made. Despite how it may appear, this is indeed part of the outlet trail, it's just been somewhat neglected. Because of the location (behind the plant) it's very important that you approach only from the parking coordinates above, though. Walk across the field and then follow the old road that goes behind the plant. You'll notice that there are no "no tresspassing" signs around the buildings, but use your head and stay away from and out of them. The cache is located near a section of the trail that locals have kept stomped down. If you follow it farther past the cache location you'll see that someone has even built a tree fort along it.
Due to the location of this cache it should be obvious that you SHOULD NOT try finding it at night. If anyone logs that they found this one at night I'll archive it. Also, keep in mind that the cache is totally exposed and easy to find. Enjoy the cache, respect the private property and give a moment of silence for the Penn Yan buisiness that unfortunatly decided to move.
