Balboa Park N.W. "George Marston Memorial Cache" Traditional Cache

In a rarely-visited area in the northwest corner of Balboa Park, near the classic craftsman-era Marston House mansion.

After finding this cache, avail yourself to the river-rock-walled walkways that decend the canyon that served at this estates old gardens.

(This cache re-enabled on 1/13/10 as a small cache. Original traditional-sized caches had been removed repeatedly by gardening staff. PLEASE be cautious when retrieving this cache so that the muggles and "urban campers" don't spot ya'. Thanks!

ALSO: This cache is now very close to the walkways. No need to wander through the vegetation and cause potential erosion, etc.

This cache is in the Marston Hills Annex of Balboa Park, San Diego, Calif. Paul, Kristine, Colin (age 11), Marina (age 8), and our puppy Millie created this cache as a family outing in one of our favorite-yet-secret areas of Balboa Park.
