This cache is situated in a wonderful park which is a real adventure to walk around in, especially if you have a dog. A golf course surrounds it, and a pioneer cemetery and it has several playing fields.
There are many tracks through the bushy surrounds of the playing fields and many areas of pine needles beneath the pines. There is plenty of parking, and it is very easy to get to and close to a station too. The coordinates will place you in the middle of a small open area about the size of a small hockey field, but it was actually used at once as a parade ground for war memorial services, etc.
A war memorial with two cenotaphs was erected here in 1925, but they reside at Moorabbin RSL. From this location, you can see some landmarks at the edge of the field, which are used to provide clues to the final cache location. These include - some concrete steps - a bluestone seat - an old horse trough - a little war memorial.

The final cache location is a very short walk away at
S37º 57.a(b+5)(c-b) E145º 03.0(b-1)(c-5)
where -
a = number of concrete steps (vertical faces)
b = the last digit in the year at the bottom of the plaque on the horse trough.
c = on the little war memorial, the number of rows of text under the symbolic image plus the number of letters in the middle word in the bottom row of the plaque.
The cache is a 1-litre sistema.
