Geocache Description:

You have an overlook of the Saratoga Creek from the cache.

Saratoga Creek is about 25 miles long. It begins as McElroy Creek at the top of Mt. McPherson (Mt. Bielawski), 3,231 feet. It turns into Saratoga Creek at the Saratoga Springs Resort. It follows Highway 9, Saratoga Avenue, and Lawrence Expressway, then passes through Central Park in Santa Clara and flows into San Tomas Aquino Creek, the Guadalupe Slough and finally into San Francisco Bay. The cache is located near the Creek, but you do not have to go down to locate it. Stay on level land and high ground. The Creek can have a lot of water flowing in it at times and can be dangerous. Watch your children if they are with you. Parking on the street will give easy access. Do not park in the nearby single parking space or parking lot. Getting religion will put you on the wrong side of the cache (but may give you better reception). You will need a pen to sign. This cache is much smaller and lighter than the first in the series, Saratoga Creek Overlook #1, GCMY6E
