Geocache Description:

This is located in Oil Creek State Park. The above cords. are for parking. It doesnt look like much of a parking area but you are allowed to park there along side the road with out getting in trouble by the park ranger.

Once you get to parking area, you will walk across a wooden bridge, following the trail (yellow blazes painted on trees), up a slight hill, past an oil shack building to an interpretive sign where you can answer the following questions to the final cache.
1- Find the number of barrels of oil that the Ocean Well produced a day minus 281 = last 2 digits for latitude.
2- The acreage of Mr. Benninghoff's farm plus 200 = the last 3 digits of the longitude.
N 41 32.0 **
W 79 40.***

From here the cache is approx. .87 away up a moderate, but long, incline. You will follow the hiking trail the whole way!!! (yellow blazes painted on trees) If there is still snow on the ground when you do this- you will notice that humans are not the only ones to use cleared trails. turkey, fox, coyote, deer and other animals use the trail for thier convenience. At the top of this hill~ eagles have been seen soaring through Oil Creek Valley in search of a tasty trout that managed to escape opening day. This trail does not zig-zag like the Wickest Geocache. It is a pretty straight shot.
