This cache has been placed in honor of St. Patrick's Day and with a tip of the hat to the blarney of the Irish.
The Erie Canal Park on Newport Road in Camillus is where cachers can find the Liars Lair and in so doing, enjoy the opportunity to spin their biggest and most outrageous caching tales, filled to the brim with blarney. Here is an opportunity to embellish your caching adventure in whatever fashion you choose and to your heart's content while at the same time entertaining kindred spirits and like-minded geo-folks. Don't be modest. Don't be shy. Tell a whopper. Tell a lie.
As you make your way through the brambles, brimstone, and brackish bogs, beware of the preposterously precarious precipices and putrid pestilence pervading the park. You might want to consider carting in carniverous canines to provide protection from the packs of porcupines as you careen along the canal's curving concrete conveyor belt. DEET to deter determined denizens of dragonflys would not be detrimental and a sword might serve you well. Don't expect to divine the den of this cache without divarication or distress, but don't deem it as undoable either!
