Valley Vista Revisited Traditional Cache
WYZE01s: Thanks to all who have visited (and revisited!) this cache over the years! It was our very first hide but it now appears to be gone and since we are no longer active cachers at the moment, I am going to archive it. The Hiking Viking has promised to put something else in here - no doubt it'll be a good one! Thanks again to everyone who found this cache and snapped the lid on tight! LOL!

A traditional cache located in Valley Vista park in Cuyahoga Falls.
This is the first cache we've hidden - to celebrate the first cache we found on 11/7/04, which was Muffinman87's Valley Vista Venture. Parking is easily accessible off of Portage Trail just west of Valley Road near the tennis courts.
Dogs are allowed on leash except in the playground area. There are picnic areas, a ball field, basketball courts, tennis courts and a wading pool with lifeguard during normal summer hours for the kids. The wading pool and playground were recently remodeled to also accomodate special needs kids. This is a busy park in the summer, so be stealthy when necessary.
There is a drop-off into a creek near the cache site, so PLEASE keep an eye on the kids! The cache is on the park-side of the creek - NOT on private property! Coordinates were taken with two GPS units so they should at least get you to the park (ha!), but since this is our first attempt, we're curious to see how close they bring you to the cache itself.
Cache container is an camo covered square Rubbermaid container which originally contains a logbook and pen, a large FTF geo-pin for the FTF'r, a nice GEO oval auto sticker, a pack of geocaching temporary tattoos, a Tennessee Volunteers lanyard, and lots of other booty nuggets for the kids.
Please make sure the lid "snaps" back on - it sometimes appears to be closed when it's not! You should HEAR it snap! As always, please rehide exactly as you found. There is evidence of "teenage party activity" near the site so we're hoping it stays hidden so it won't get muggled!
