Geocache Description:

Rose and Brad's Cache is a tribute to my great grandparents. Rose kept diaries from 1870 to 1923 which provide many fascinating insights into the past. She wrote about sitting on death watches, encounters with ghosts, homemade remedies, encounters with Indians, natural disasters and much more. There are also many old photographs, letters and documents which help fill in gaps. Her life spanned the Civil War, Spanish American War and World War I. She started out in horse and buggy days and continued on through women having the right to vote, motor cars, electricity and the telephone. In order to solve the mystery and find the cache, you will have to use the coordinates to find their final resting place. The first coordinates are an average of readings. If you have trouble finding the location use the first hint. When you have located the stones, look for the decoder ring which is right on one of the stones, so you need look no further. It will be found inside another shape. The final coordinates will be: N 42' 1K.S1,S2,S3 and W 79' 2W.H,T1,T2 K _ , S1 _ , S2 _ , S3 _ , and, W _ , H _ , T1 _ , T2 _ Letter Number 1 = 5, 2 = 0, 3 = 6, 4 = 6, 5 = 9, 6 = 1, 7 = 9, 8 = 7. Park near the final coordinates and walk around behind the obvious location. The cache is there with permission but be stealthy if non geo cachers are nearby. Starting contents are: Gallery Clock from the British Museum, SpongeBob Squarepants ornament set, chirping Toucan, 2 brass belt buckles, New Vivitar T201 camera, Town of Chautauqua Bicentennial Pin, paper crown and a Roman coin over 1,700 years old.
