Wish You Were Here... Traditional Cache

This cache is a Memorial to my beloved dog and the best friend a man could ever ask for, Snickers. The family made a heart crushing decision and Snickers was allowed to peacefully die on February 25, 2005 at 3:25PM after suffering a paralyzing injury that took away all control in his hind quarters, but more importantly, took away his dignity, pride, and enjoyment of life.

Snickers loved everybody he met, and enjoyed wandering ahead on the trails. No matter the distance or effort, Snickers would always be ready to go around that next bend or climb that next scramble. He knew when I pulled out the backpack that he was getting to go on another adventure and would do his happy dance and talk up a storm urging me to move faster towards the jeep. You will be missed my friend. I can now only wish you were here.
