Here is the official CITO event for the north of Seattle bunch. Come on down and help us out! We will be out there, rain or shine, April 16, 2005 from 10am to 2pm, with of course breaks for lunch. I just want to get us started early, so that those who want can head out caching early. And if you want any hints or help with the Mountlake Terrace/Briar/Lynnwood caches, I know that a few of us will be there on hand for the asking.
We will meet in the field on the east side of the street at the coordinate above. If you go to the cache page for Pens and Pencils (GCMT64), that will take you to the area we are working at. If we get done early, we may move to the west side, but don't count on it, we will probably head out for a few caches.
As grand prize to one lucky winner we will have a complete ammo can cache waiting to be placed. We have no idea how we will pick the winner, it may be the youngest, most novice, the weakest, or the one with the best excuse for being late. If you have some swag for this cache you would like to donate, bring it along and stuff it in the cache before the prize is awarded, and if running late, you might be able to stuff it in after, too.
Also I think that we could easily set a cache in the park as a memorial to the CITO event. So bring something for that, and your best hand to sign the cache.
I want it at least pretty clear that this is a BYOLunch party, unless someone would like to con one of the local Pizza or Sub places for a few goodies. BTW, my favorite pizza is garlic, pepperoni, and anchovies, no joke...hint, hint. Let me know if you are into looking into taking on this hint.
