Permission was granted to place this cache by a family member of the occupants with whom I work. The cemetary itself IS NOT owned by the adjacent property owner as was suggested, BUT it is best not to offend. In the best interest of our sport I will respectfully archive this cache for the time being. This is one of my favorites, and I hope you all enjoyed getting to see this unique place!

Geocache Description:

This is a small piece of local history obscured by time and develpoment.

Located near the entrance of a subdivision, this is a tiny revolutionary war era family cemetery. The Daughters of the Revolution has placed one of the headstones. The area is contained by a low stone wall. There are beautiful old cedars draped with resurrection fern.

Park on the roadside in the subdivision and walk back, or there is a small grassy area just off of Washington Rd. Either way, be careful with the kiddies.

The cache is an ammo box. No need to poke around inside the walled area.
