It’s a day out for Geodug, _CanadianBacon_ and CB’s son. While about to set out searching for another cache in this large park, _CB_ opens up his caching box and has four ready to go caches, and nabs one of suitable size.
We thought since people are heading here, lets give them another cache to find while in the area.
So we searched along the river, along the trail, nothing quite suitable, or at least when the berries start to grow the spots would not be suitable.
A long walk to the cache we were looking for and then back to the car almost had us at a loss for a spot, but then we saw it, a small side trail. We wander down the trail, checking stumps, checking around the rocks, odd looking trees… Then we saw it. I think we all recognized it as somewhat unique and interesting.
A little prodding and pocking around turned up a suitable hidey spot. Took the measurements and started to walk back to the van. This is when the discussion started on a name for the cache. Now we can’t share all the names we thought of, it would be a dead give away, but the name is appropriate.
Enjoy the cache, and also go look for The Wet Coast Explorers “Somewhere Down that Crazy River” while in the area.
