Placed with permission of the Peoria Park District in Robinson Park. This one will require some hiking in challenging terrain so come prepared with good shoes, water, bug spray, gloves and so on. This cache is not designed to be easy.
Locating may be difficult so hone up on your “finding” skills. The cache is on the ground. There is only enough room for a logbook or travel bug should you wish to leave one. A compass for the last 60 feet may prove helpful. Please close properly to ensure it stays weather proofed and replace with care so it stays in place. Decrypt hint on site if needed. DO NOT access Robinson Park through the Boy Scout Camp! While on this hunt you will discover some improvements being made to the park that will benefit the hobby. Also, take advantage of the other caches in the area while on this trek.
*Side Note* This park is home to a few rarely seen pileated woodpeckers so take a few moments to look for them.
