This cache is located at the foot of Greene Mountain in southern Greene County on Cherokee National Forest property. I placed it here because I'm not sure how often the gate will be open to the top of the mountain, but it's a nice drive. Terrain is 3 due to heavy brush created by dead pine trees.
The cache is a medium-sized tupperware container stocked with a few goodies. Please trade-up or even. Cache is located a short distance off the trail. This trail is an old logging road that has been gated. A forest service employee told me that the trail ends up on the side of Greene Mountain at a dead end. There are a couple of places to park off the side of the gravel road. Parking in front of forest service gates are illegal, as tempting as it is, so please don't. Happy Caching!
