Do you want to spend more time
out in the field geocaching and less time preparing at home? If so,
come join us for an evening of fun and learning. You will walk away from
this event with a good understanding of how to quickly download hundreds of
cache pages from geocaching.com and dump them into your GPS and PDA so that you
can run out the door with all the necessary information in hand without ever
printing out a single sheet of paper.
Geocachers with all levels of
electronic geocaching experience are encouraged to attend. If you are
already an expert at this stuff, your help assisting others will be
appreciated. Also, this will be an excuse for everyone to get together,
swap stories with friends and make new acquaintances.
Update: Door prizes will be
given out during the event. Also, beverages will be provided and a table
will be set up for deserts and snacks. If it's convenient, please bring
something to share at the snack table.
Thanks to all the donors of
the door prizes:
Note: This is a partial list - More Prizes to be added
