Ruby's Riverwalk Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

salpal: I drove by today to see how construction is progressing, but as you can see from the photo, it's going to be a while before this area will be open again. Having said that, I shall archive Ruby. She had a great run, survived the 2010 flood and countless near-floods. Thanks to all who came this way.

Geocache Description:

A nice stroll down the paved Riverwalk for most of the way. There will be a more challenging climb up the side of the path to the cache. If the Harpeth River has overflown its banks, DO NOT attempt this! Please use common sense.

The coords will take you to an island of information. To find the North coords to the cache, add the Number of the Group that takes care of this area to: 54.260 If the Number of the Group is greater than 3 digits, put a decimal point so that there will be 3 digits to its right. IE: for the number 'abcd', place decimal to make 'a.bcd'. The North coords will be: N 35' (what # you make) The West coords are: W086' 52.470 Please be careful when retrieving this lock n lock container. It might be slippery there. Also, I cleaned out a lot of broken glass.
