Ottawa's oldest frame house
This cache was placed for the Go
and Get Em 6!!! event but it can still be found.
The posted coordinates are those of the entry of the Billings
Estate Museum, where free parking is available.
Somewhere very close to Ottawa's oldest frame house (i.e. the
museum building), is an artifact that points to True North (neat,
isn't it?). From there, project yourself 230 meters, 203 degrees
True North and find the cache which is a 500g peanut butter jar
full of goodies.
Reception at the cache location can be bad but the hints will
help you if needed. The trail should be wheelchair accessible in
summer, but unfortunately the final meters would be terrain level
2.
