Geocache Description:

Located just below Tabletop, the northside peak of Simpson Hill just east of Rte 127 in Bayside, NB

Altitude of Tabletop is 558', the cache is about 20' below and 50' SW of the peak in the direction of the marine terminal wharf.
There is a secluded cavern with a cedar bench to get out of the weather and take a break. The climb from the road takes 10 - 25 min.
The trail head on the east side of Rte 127 is marked by twin poles in the ditch with multicouloured flagging tape.
This trail head is at approximately 3149 Rte 127 (About 5.15 Km south from Hwy 1)
Follow this trail and any of the side trails that are marked by red tape, double blazes, and cairns to the top.
The cache, a plastic container, has a log book with some pictures, pen, pencil, travel bugs, dog biscuits, etc.
This cache and a plaque nearby are memorials to my daughter Karen (1965-2002), a free spirit who loved this mountain.
Enjoy the pristine wilderness, pools and waterfalls along the valley trail, and many other trails developed over the
past 27 years featuring big old trees, mossy glens and granite outcrops that overlook the St Croix and Oak Bay.
Ignore the quarry below (at the Bayside terminal) if you can! Weekends it is quiet unless loading a ship.
All red flagged trails go up (or down), the blue ones go across. There is only one Table Top, at the north end!
Please log your visit, as this may help save the mountain
