This is a stand alone cache and also part of the mystery cache, "I Caught a Whopper in Hayward".
Hunting is just one of the many activities to enjoy in the Hayward area. There is an archery range located near the cache. There is also a fire tower. The road to the cache is not marked. There is a sign that says Hayward Archery Range; turn on this blacktop road. Drive 4/10 of a mile and park at the fire tower. The cache is close by. It is winter friendly. Wear blaze orange in hunting season.
This is part of the "I Caught a Whopper in Hayward" mystery cache. The number under the ammo box lid replaces the letter "A".
