The Roos: This cache has disappeared, again! Since I now live out of the area I wont replace it as I cant keep a closer eye on it. Obviously this frees up the site for anyone else to use.

Nice easy walk along a small part of the Greensand Way.
Cache is a small ammo box. This cache can be picked up easily by parking at Hambledon Village Hall (N51.08.190 W000.37.498) where a short climb of about 5 minutes will take you right to it. For those wanting a slightly longer walk, parking can be found at Sweetwater Pond in Culmer Lane (N51.08.580 W000.38.259)where a lovely walk of about 20 minutes through woods will lead you to the cache. GPS should be no problem through the woods (it worked fine for us). At the final coordinates stand with your back to the view and look for the gnarled oak tree.
Take the time to sit on the nearby memorial bench and admire the view across to Sussex and the South Downs.
