Geocache Description:

This cache honors a survivor.
As you stand beside him you can't help but wonder what things he has seen over the past few centuries.
Early Pioneers, settlers, trappers, Indians.
Looking at him you can almost read the history of the forest.

The cache itself should be a fairly easy find. there is no trail (yet) but it's not far off the road.
