Wyoming Antelope Club - Only Outdoor Shooting Range in Pinellas County - Cache not near the ranges! Easy in and out on driveway leading into the range, large cache for large trading objects or travel bugs.
Driving by this range where I have gone in the past made me think that I have found some really nice parks and places I wouldn't have known about normally. So I stopped in and talked to the President of the club and then the board as well and they agree to let me place a cache on the property. It will be on the driveway going up to the range but not too close to the range, but you can hear the guns going off real well. It is behind the gates and can only be accessed when the range is open. Times are Monday and Tuesday Closed, Wednesday and Thursday 9AM until 1PM, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 5PM. This range is located on several acres of land and they have several different types of ranges from bb guns to blackpowder. They have safety range officers that make sure everything is done with the utmost safety for all those around. The public is welcome to come by and visit, and geocache as well! If you go back to the range to shoot, please let them know that you found it via geocaching so they are happy to have a cache there. (; Please be careful to close the lid tightly and hide back where you found the cache at, thanks!
Due to getting mowed over I had to relocate this cache. I replaced it and it is a full size cache again.
