Access to this cache is from
Soda Lake Rd., the sign that marks the road has the word
“Padrones”. The cache container is a glass jar!
A SPECIAL WORD ABOUT DRIVING TO THE
CACHE:
The road to the cache has tall
and thick grass between the tire tracks two miles before the cache.
Extreme caution should be used if a vehicle is driven over the
grass when it is dry. A vehicle’s exhaust system is very hot and
can easily ignite dry grass. Additionally a person who’s actions
(whether intentional or not) start a fire can be held criminally
and/or financially responsible for the fire. The view is awesome
and a pleasant two mile hike or mountain bike ride would enhance
the caching experience verses driving.
Finally, beware of ticks! I
found three on my clothes and another member of our party found two
on his clothing.
