We are very excited to have placed our first cache in our hometown of Mashpee, Massachusetts. This is a lock n' lock container placed in the 390 acre Mashpee River Woodlands. Trails are well defined, become a bit narrow in places, and there are a few moderate hills. Look for small blue and green Cape Cod Pathways markers. As always on the Cape, watch for poison ivy and ticks. We hope you enjoy the view!

There are several parking areas in the Mashpee River Woodlands. The north parking lot, off of Quinaquissett Avenue, is the closest, approx. 1/3 mile from the cache. Another option is the River Road entrance, about ¾ mile from the cache. If you use this entrance, drive to the end of River Road and park along the street opposite the houses. Both entrances are marked with large white signs.
Trail maps are sometimes available at the trail heads. You can also pick up a Cape Cod Pathways map of the Woodlands at the Mashpee Town Hall on Great Neck Rd. North or at EMS in Hyannis.
