This cache was placed to bring a group of boys and their fathers,
"Dads & Lads" out for a geocaching outing. Dads & Lads is
an unofficial pre cub scout group.
Suggested parking is at the fish hatchery, at: 43 02.879, 77
28.539
Walk up Park Road and marvel at the mushroom house before or
after finding teh cache, or continue on to pick up another trail
head at 43 02.895, 77 28.367.
I hadn't hiked this area of the park before until placing this
cache. There is a beautiful lake not too far from the cache - be
sure to hike around the other ridges to find it.
While scouting the area out, I ran into Peppermill placing a
cache themselves, so be sure to
visit their cache as well. I signed the log on their cache, but
it probably wouldn't be fair to claim the FTF on it (?), as I found
it before it was even hidden!
