April 2005

This was LIGO Cache Giveaway #002, April 2005.

I had been checking out The LIGO Cache Giveaway!! link every so often, less lately, to see if there was a new listing. I worked out in the yard most of the day and it was getting near dinner time and time to quit and relax.

I went to check the latest Cacher’s that had hit a milestone at www.ligeocaching.com. I decided to click on this link and in disbelief saw the new listing. I punched in the cords and as soon as I saw the direction and miles from home I was sure I knew what park it was in – and off I went.

It took a little while to find – I was actually going to leave thinking someone must have already found it. With the cache in my hand I wondered what I was going to do with it? I called Joe who told me I could either take it and hide it some place else or leave it. I liked the hide so I just put it back and it is there for you to find and log.
