A Salty Piece of Land Traditional Cache

Located in the fantastic Galveston State Park so there is a daily use fee, so turn left before you turn right and visit the man at the main entrance to the park, then drive back across the road toward the cache. Less than 20 paces off the beaten path. Follow the natural path to the cache site. My son said what a shame it is that there weren't any ammo can caches around, so now there is one. Watch for mosquitos, snakes, rabbits, possums, and other creatures of the earth.
The first in my Jimmy Buffet Song Series. His book, by the same name has been my favorite read for some time now. Galveston represents the state of mind expressed in the song/book and was how I felt when placing this cache.
My son and I placed this cache while camping nearby. My first trip camping on my own without other adults along, especially a man, so it was my "Right of Passage" ritual.
In the spirit of doing what I once thought impossible, the theme in this cache is KimPossible. There are several KimPossible action figures and a Geocaching.com lapel pin.
