This is a standard 50 cal. ammo can on the UNR campus, placed by the students of the Early Learning Center nearby.
The Early Learning Center is a standard Washoe County Classroom comprised of 1st 2nd and 3rd grade students located on the UNR campus. As a joint venture between WCSD and UNR, this is a model classroom in which education majors can get hands-on teaching experience, often for the first time. As part of the class' unit on maps/orienteering, they learned how a gps works and how it can be used to find things. This cache is, as the name implies, for the TRADING OF CHILDREN'S BOOKS. Please bring a smallish (preferably paperback) book to place in the cache. As these students tend to be VORACIOUS readers, they can recirculate the contents of their cache from time to time. Thanks for the books!
