I've been running a 4 mile loop through this area with a buddy of mine early morning twice a week since August of '04. We start near Wal-Mart about 6:45am and either run under 237 or take the overpass depending on if it rained the night before.
I've seen these trolleys across several county creeks and rivers, but have never seen them in use. I think they might be used to get water samples from the center of the channel.
Cache is an Altoids tin just off the levee trail. Please bring your own pen. No climbing is required to retrieve the cache!
