After you enter Barboursville park find the trail leading up the hill behind the softball fields. To the top then left to Emerald Isle. The first stage contains the coordinates for the second stage. All of the original contents of this cache were green, hence, the name Emerald Isle. I'd like everyone to try to stick with the theme if you can. Have fun and Happy Hunting! You are looking for a 6x6 lock-in-lock container. Stage one is a small hanging container with coordinates for stage two. (final) My measure of the elevation at stage 1 was 688 feet. Coordinates for stage 2 are a bit jumpy since there is a lot of cover in the area. Elevation at stage 2 was 656 feet. I was tempted to raise the terrain level of this cache since there is a lot of walking up and down hills but if geocachers stay on the trails, there are no really steep areas to climb up or down and no special equipment is required so a terrain rating of 4 is probably appropriate. Since there are thousands of potential hide locations at stage 2, I raised the difficulty rating from two stars to three. I also added an attribute that is not for small children since there are some steep areas near both hide locations that might pose a danger to unsupervised small children.
