While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If the owner wants it reopened, send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to unarchive the cache listing if it still satisfies the requirement/guidelines.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located at Hundvaag, one of the islands north of the citysenter of Stavanger.

Denne boksen ligger på Hundvåg, en av øyene som ligger rett nord for Stavanger sentrum.

The cache is placed near the walking path located at Hundvaag. The path is 3,5 km long, and follows partly the fjord. From Saltneset you have a magnificent view towards the Byfjord and the Aamøyfjord. It is also traces after German installations during the 2nd WW.

The container is made of plastic, and have a blue lid. Contents: Reflex, toy, band aid, TB, FTF-certificate, pencil and logbook.

Boksen er plassert nær folkestien på Hundvåg. Stien går i variert landskap, og følger tidvis fjorden. Fra Saltneset har du en fantastisk utsikt over Byfjorden og Åmøyfjorden. Det er også tydelige spor etter tyskerne fra Andre verdenskrig.

Boksen er laget i plast, og har et blått lokk. Innhold: refleks, leke, plaster, TB, FTF-sertifikat, blyant og logbok.
