Do you remember playing baseball as a kid and hitting a foul ball into the woods? Remember getting the whole team to look for it because it was the only ball you had? This cache is a walk down memory lane. This will be just like looking for that lost baseball.
The coordinates for the cache are given as a baseball trivia puzzle you must solve first to find them. Internet searching with key words should give you the answers.
Be super stealthy. This is a very public place. You may even enjoy a Little League game while you are there and a hot dog or two. Remember all Big Leaguers were Little Leaguers once.
The cache is a small cache with room for small objects only. The original cache had several small balls and old baseball cards. Enjoy!
THE TRIVIA PUZZLE FOR THE CACHE:
In 2001 Dave Winfield and Kirby Puckett were elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. They played together in 1993-1994 with the Minnesota Twins.
Dave Winfield was born on Oct. 3, 1951 and played baseball and basketball at the University of Minnesota. He was drafted by the San Diego Padres, the Minnesota Vikings of the NFL, the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA and the Utah Stars of the ABA. He chose baseball, and played for several Major League Baseball teams.
Dave Winfield’s overall career batting average is the last three digits of the West coordinates for this cache.

Kirby Puckett was born on March 14, 1960 and was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in 1982 after playing for Bradley University and Triton College in Illinois. He died at the age of 45 on March 6, 2006 following a massive stroke. In 1987, he led the Twins to their first World Series title in a seven-game upset over the St. Louis Cardinals.
