A straightforward traditional cache located on the Colinas Bluff Trail that runs between Laguna Niguel and the San Juan Capistrano Wilderness area. The views are panoramic!
6/16/08 Update: I have finally reached the right person in the City and have been told that this trail is absolutely a public trail and the signs saying otherwise should not be there. Cache on!
Trail access can be found via entries on Precipice, St. Croix, St. Christopher and other streets in between.
For a longer hike, or if you are on mountain bike or trailered your horse, park in the lot for the dog park next to the fire station on Golden Lantern and use the tunnel that goes under Golden Lantern.
You can also get to "A Simple Log" and "Singin' the Blues" from the above suggested parking places.
