This is my first cache that I have ever hid. It is located on Azalea Hill which is right across from the Bon Tempe Dam. It is a medium size container and is stain-less steel canister with a plastic top. It is in a pretty open area.
The cache is almost all the way up the hill so there is a good amount of hiking involved. When you first drive to Bon Tempe and Alpine Lake don't stop at the first parking lot but keep going on to the second one. You can choose any way to get across the creek just don't get too discouraged. From there just follow deer trails or you can bush wack if you want until you get to a very rocky area that looks like it was carved away from the mountain. From here follow deer trails but don't go to close to the top.
